Privacy Policy

Meteor ("we") describes here how the iPhone app "Voice Planner" (Japanese name: 声の手帳, "the App") handles your information.

1. Audio

Recorded audio is converted to text entirely on your device. We never send the audio itself to our servers or any third party. Audio files are deleted from your device after transcription (you can choose to keep them in Settings).

2. Information we send and why

• Transcribed text (only if you agree in the App; you can withdraw anytime in Settings): To find your events and to-dos, the App sends each 5-minute transcript, the time it was recorded, your time zone, your app language, and the titles of items already found, through our server (Google Cloud, Tokyo) to an AI service (Anthropic's Claude). Our server does not store the transcript. Anthropic processes it under terms that do not allow it to be used for AI training.
• Usage: To count your free recording time, we store an anonymous identifier created automatically for you, your total recording time, and the number of AI requests.
• Purchases: To confirm your monthly plan, we store the transaction information issued by the App Store (transaction ID and expiry). Your name and payment details never reach us.

3. Information that stays on your device

Transcripts, suggested events and to-dos, and your to-do list are stored on your device. Calendar and Reminders access is used only to add the items you choose and to keep to-do completion in sync.

4. Sharing

Except where required by law, we do not share information with anyone other than the processors named above (Google, Anthropic, Apple).

5. Other people's voices

The App may record the voices of people around you. Laws about recording conversations differ by country and region (some require everyone's consent). Please respect others and follow the laws that apply to you.

6. Deletion

Information on your device is removed when you delete the App. To request deletion of the usage information stored on our server, contact us below.
